-
Will my roof or siding be damaged by the washing?
No, soft washing involves the use of a soft wash machine that generates no more than 60 psi (pounds per square inch). That way, no damage can be done to the surface of what is being cleaned.
-
What is the difference between power washing and soft washing?
Power washing involves the use of a power washing machine that creates approximately 4000 psi (pounds per square inch) of water pressure to wash away pesky dirt and grime. Various tips are used on our power washing wands to help direct pressure in the appropriate manner onto the surface being cleaned. Because of the strength of our power washing machines, power washing is typically limited to hardscapes such as driveways, walkways, as well as brick and paver surfaces.
Soft washing involves use of a soft wash machine that generates no more than 60 psi (pounds per square inch). That way, no damage can be done to the surface of what is being cleaned. Soft wash is typically done on roofs and siding. In order to help eliminate pesky stains, algae, and mold, we often use a mild, non-toxic biodegradable chemical with our power wash system. We also use a water reclamation system including rubber berms and a “shop vac type“ machine to collect and/or direct waste water to an appropriate sanitary sewer disposal site.
